Key dates are as follows:
- Cabinet Decision of 21st March 2016 would make the Key Guarantees active for affected households.
- The definition of resident, set out above, means that time of submission of planning application/making of CPO is a key date. This is likely to be around 12 to 15 months from now. The Council will provide as much warning as possible of this impending date.
- If a CPO is made, then a CPO Inquiry would likely be held around 6 to 9 months later. If the Council were successful, confirmation of the CPO could be expected to be 3 to 6 months after that.
- Prior to confirmation of a CPO, a homeowner can approach the Council at any time to seek to sell their property. After confirmation of a CPO, the Council would determine the timing of acquisition of properties.
