Last week Thursday was the fourth Westbury Estate Regeneration workshop where we were joined by Westbury Estate’sIndependent Design Advisor, Kay Hughes and her colleague Lisa Woo, a Commission for the Built Environment (CABE) Advisor who will also be attending the sessions and working alongside Kay. The format of the workshop was slightly different to the last ones following some residents’ requests that they wanted to see some design proposals so they could work with the Kay to start exploring the design ideas.
On Saturday we held the first exhibition sharing initial ideas and a draft of a Residents' Brief and invited people to give feedback. The Brief was developed from ideas noted in the workshops but we want to know what people think so please give us your feedback.Read more

Those who braved the bad weather were not disappointed. Not everyone signed in but an estimated 30 residents with their family members attended the day and enjoyed the event. Activities such as, Thai hand massage, bouncy castle and other stalls which included food stalls. The Jerks chicken was very popular and was snapped up quickly, in future we will need to make sure supply is plenty and it cater for Halal and vegetarian diet.
