Last night the Council’s Cabinet met to discuss the proposed redevelopment of the Knight's Walk and it resolved that it will be partially redeveloped. This means that:
- The following homes would be demolished and replaced: 5a - f, 7, 9, 11a - f, 13, 15, 17 and 19 Knight's Walk
- The following homes would be retained: 1, 2, 3 Kempsford Road, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 16, 18 and 20 Knight's Walk;
Last night the Council’s Cabinet met to discuss the proposed redevelopment of the Westbury Estate and it resolved that the estate will be partially redeveloped. This means that:
- Amesbury and Durrington Towers will be retained
- The low-rise blocks (Isley, Fovant, Welford and Allington Courts) will be demolished and redeveloped to re-provide all the existing homes and deliver additional new homes
The Council is publishing a booklet, which will provide information on the development and design teams that residents will be able to ask questions at the exhibition on 14 November.
At the exhibition residents will have a chance to ask questions to the potential teams who will work with them to design the estate. Not only will you get the opportunity to ask questions to the different teams you will be able to express your views on which teams you prefer.
