Find out what residents thought of the new build properties at the Councils new Akerman Road development at the recent open day.
Overall around 20 residents and families from our estates attended the open day having the opportunity to view a number of properties on the site. The residents had the chance to speak to the architects, the project manager and for some the opportunity to meet their new neighbours to be. The team ran tours around the block showing residents 1 bed, 2 bed and 3 bed flats alongside one of the new 4 bed houses built to the super energy efficient Passivhaus standard. If you want to find out more about the Akerman Road Development visit the Love Lambeth webpages where you can find information on its design and the story of the original building.
