The Development Management Team have produced newsletter #5 for South Lambeth and it is available to read below.
We hope you have been enjoying the wonderful weather. We just wanted to update you on the recent Housing Needs Survey; we have almost finished! We would like to say a big thank you to all of you who took part. The information provided will help us ensure that we build more and better homes, tailored to the needs of the residents that live here on South Lambeth Estate. We are in the process of reviewing all the responses and will summarise the key findings in our next newsletter. We have a couple of events coming up and hope you will be able to attend both. We were intending to carry out the Key Guarantees wrap up consultation in September however, this has now been pushed back to later in the year. As ever, any questions or comments please get in touch.
Sid and Marcus On behalf of your Regeneration team.

Your resident representatives have been busily working with me behind the scenes, to urge more residents to give their views and review the various aspects of the regeneration. Don’t forget it is never too late to ask questions or give your views and not asking, could lead you to not having clarity about what the best options are for you and the community as a whole. We are responding to what you are saying and some residents have asked to know who their local resident representatives are; so you will soon see some fantastic ‘selfies’ of your resident representatives on your notice board. You will be able to contact them through the freephone number for a friendly chat on the estate. We are busy planning a fantastic family fun day for the 1st October. Please do let us know if you would like to help out with any of the planning so that we can make it a great event for all.

Industrial Cadet Work Experience Opportunity for a Young Resident Aged 16-19
The regeneration team is offering a young resident from one of the programme’s six estates an Industrial Cadet work experience placement in the department.

If you, or a young resident you know is interested in applying for the Industrial Cadet work experience placement, please get them to send their name, phone number and email address along with 100 words about why they would like to apply for work experience with estate regeneration to Anna on firstname.lastname@example.org.
