Welcome to this month’s newsletter. Hope you are enjoying and making the most of the lovely weather while it lasts. We have
lots of events happening for you to participate in! Hope you can join us, as we look forward to seeing you all.
Housing Management- Toward the end of the summer we will be holding engagement drop ins to discuss the scope of
services for the new Housing Management service for Homes for Lambeth . It is really important that you give us your views on
this, so we can be sure that these services are tailored to meet your needs and expectations.
Tenancies and Leases- There will be a formal consultation regarding your new Homes for Lambeth tenancies and leases
which will start toward the end of summer. This will include the future provision of the Right to Buy which we know is important
to many of you. Once again it is important for you to provide your feedback and take the opportunity to ask questions of us
and of your Independent Advisor.
Equalities Impact Assessment - Ottaway Strategic have been employed to carry out Equality Impact Assessments for all
residents. You will be receiving a letter directly from them as they will be carrying out visits to your properties over the coming
Drop -in Sessions- As usual we are still holding our weekly drop-ins at 2 Broadstone House on Tuesdays from 3.30-7pm.
Including a coffee and cake session on the 25th July where Dionne (Decant officer) will be there to answer your questions.
Upcoming exhibitions- The architects are working behind the scenes to update the designs for the ground floor of Wimborne
House and the rest of the estate , we will let you know once we have more information on times and dates

Our next TRA meeting is at 7.00pm, 18-07-17 in Caretakers room, by Wimborne House. Everyone is welcome.
We will be discussing the latest development plans. We will also be following up Fire Plan discussions and results of recent testing. And of course following up our plans for TMO competency training.
In the meantime the garden is blooming. Dan has been exercising our new strimmer. Poppy helped us sort out the veggies at our last gardening session and Lilja, Viv and Mohammed have been tirelessly watering. Meantime we all hope you are helping yourselves to lovely home grown salad selection, potatoes, beetroot and herbs.
PS tiny strawberries disappear quickly, so grab them while you can.
You should hopefully have received booklets on the Key Guarantees and other information from the Lambeth’s Regeneration Team. Understandably some of this might be a little overwhelming. Should you have any concerns, I am happy to visit you at home or alternatively, feel free to visit the community hub at No.2 Broadstone House where I will be able to give you some independent advise.
Making better use of the community Hub at no.2 Broadstone House We want the Broadstone Hub to become a key resource for residents – and not just about the regeneration of South Lambeth estate.
It has the potential to be a venue where training, events, meetings or social activity can happen, for example:
• fun community gatherings
• friendship clubs (older people, toddler club, coffee mornings)
• health projects (running, walking, buggy clubs, gardening for kids)
• summer holiday programmes for children and young people • advice centre • lending library (books/magazines/ CD’s supplied by community)
• Arts and crafts (up cycling, children’s art workshops)
• training programmes (identified by community)
But the ideas need to come from and be led by you. If you have a project idea or know of a service that might benefit South Lambeth residents, please contact Yvonne or Claire (020 7089 2138).
As a reminder you can visit our drop-in every Tuesday 3.30pm – 7pm where you can meet staff working on the estate regeneration, who will be happy to provide updates and answer any queries you might have, or just come in for a chat!
Just to advise that drop-in’s for homeowners will be scheduled on the following date:
• Tuesday 8th August at 6pm – 8pm
• Tuesday 22nd August at 6pm – 8pm
