Last weekend, the regeneration team took part in a day of celebrations to mark St Martin’s day with Lambeth’s Portuguese community.
Reay Primary School hosted the event with traditional Portuguese music, singing and dance performances, a film screening, football, science workshops and a range of information stands.
The regeneration team and Tibbalds spoke to visitors about the plans for the rebuilt South Lambeth Estate and talked through some designs and a 3D model of what the new buildings might look like.
One visitor said:
“I like the new neighbourhood square, I walk my son to school along Dorset Road everyday so it would be nice to see some places to sit”
Visitors asked questions about the new play equipment, parking, landscaping and retail space and wanted more information on Homes for Lambeth and how the phasing would work with residents living on the estate.
