Lollard Street fun day

Posted by Lesley Johnson 27sc on August 24, 2016

A big thank you to Canary Wharf Contractors for the Fun Day on Saturday 13th August. As well as a bouncy castle and Laser Quest, there was food, face painting and a chance to find out about training and job opportunities. There was also voting for the new street names. News soon of your choice.

Lots of people asked about whether the new homes will be available to council tenants in Brittany, Elkington and Ward points.  70 of the new homes will be available at Council rent levels and we will be in touch in the New Year with more details of these new homes and how to apply if you are interested. We will work with the Ethelred Tenants and Residents Association to make sure allocation is fair if the new homes are oversubscribed.

The other 19 homes will be for sale, with the net proceeds coming back to the Council to invest in more affordable housing.
