We consulted with homeowners who live on one of the six estates in the regeneration programme from September to November last year on the details of their new leases. These are the leases which Homes for Lambeth (HfL) will offer homeowners when the time comes for them into a new home on a rebuilt estate.
The results of this consultation, along with changes to the details of the leases, were discussed by the council’s Cabinet on 22 January. At this meeting, the terms of this new leases were agreed. As a result of the consultation process, a number of changes were made to these agreements. These included changes on a diverse range of issues including sub-letting, flooring, pets, and carrying out alterations.
