The regeneration team is looking for a young resident from one of the programme’s six estates to take on an Industrial Cadet work experience placement in the department.
Industrial Cadets is an industry-led accreditation, which allows employers to run accredited experiences for young people, in order to create a talent pipeline for UK industry. Young people can develop skills, gain an insight into industry and become better informed about careers available. For more information about Industrial Cadets, please click here.
The 20 hour placement will see the young person attending meetings, going on site visits and putting together a piece of work that they will present back to the team. At the end of the 20 hours, the young person will achieve an Industrial Cadets Bronze Award and will have access to exclusive industry opportunities with a network of employers UK Wide.
