At the Resident Engagement Panel (REP) meeting on 2nd February the group was advised that the decision on the future of Central Hill will not now take place in April.
This will give time for the Council to review the proposal for the future of the estate put forward by Architects for Social Housing to see whether this option can be delivered, and whether it will provide the more and better homes needed in the Borough.
It will also allow both REP members and other residents the opportunity to take up the offer of having an independent design adviser. This will support residents when they review the options and also develop their aspirations for the estate.
Exhibitions on the estate will shortly be timetabled to show the residents what the Council has been considering. Residents will be advised of these dates shortly, and they will be posted on the link below:
